Casey,

Thanks for posting the info on the Icom 802. We are not full time
cruisers so only use the radio during the NE summer. With such little
use I have not come across the fading problem during transmission. Also,
I have one of the very first 802's that came to market - wonder if the
fault came in a later build version. It would be very helpful if you
would let us know what comes of Icom's investigation.
