Cindy,

Are the bungs you refer to in the brass base? I see what may be a brass
bung in one of the bases. Other than the screws in the perimeter of the
wood mount (under the brass base) there is nothing showing in the wood.
I'm wondering if my bases screw into a male fitting in the floor.

Thanks for your suggestion - I'll look more carefully for bungs when I
get out to the boat this afternoon.
