Based on your description, I don't think that Kevin has changed the steering
adapter. Seems it would have been sensible to drill a few holes in the drum,
and put on a separate line for port and another for starboard. I think that
is the way they do it on the Monitor. It provides more direct positive
control, and doesn't rely only on friction. I'll see how it goes. If need
be, perhaps I can have a hole drilled in the adapter drum and replicate the
operation of the version made by Monitor?
Other than that, the Fleming appears to be extremely sturdy.
