Thank you for the advice.
I checked out the EA 300 at the Aqua Marine web site. I see that the set is
only 13.5" wide, allowing you to get it past the 15" (width) opening under
the port cockpit seat. Very cool. Most specs for gen set dimensions I have
been looking at are in the 17 to 20" width.
I like the DC Gen Set's ability to efficiently provide for the battery
charging, water and even pumping.

However, we have a reverse cycle Air Conditioner installed that requires AC
rather than DC current. Aqua Marine offers Westerbeke AC gen set that allows
you to add things like direct alternator battery charging. Unfortunately,
the unit is spec'd at 18" wide.
Any ideas out there?
