Here's an unusual image people might appreciate: careening a Panda 40 at Puerto Don Juan, Bahia de Los Angeles, Baja Mexico (year 2000). It can be done! (if you are cheap enough or have a real urgent need.) There are over six foot tides and a smooth level beach at this site, and happily the boat stands back up when the tides come in...
