I'm looking for suggestions for making templates of irregularly curved
spaces inside of a Baba 30 so that we can build a few convieniences for
Mandisa. One item that we'd really like is a removable step for the
V-berth. We'd like to make something nice that would match the interior,
but which would also be very strong and secure. The idea is a table-like
structure that attaches to the V-berth just below the lower drawer (we
have 2) and is supported by two vertical "legs" resting on the sole.
Unfortunately, the sole forward of the head door has some very complex
curves to it. How can I get the shape of the sole at the right point so
I can build the step without wasting a lot of very expensive wood?
Has anyone done this project?
