RE: Baba 30 model

Hello Rick W,

This model was created using a rapid prototyping machine from a 3D CAD model
I created. It was done as a favor by a customer of ours. Out of curiosity I
checked to see how much it would have cost to make another one: $1500.
Needless to say I was even more appreciative of the favor.

I would like to make another one. I mentioned this to Bob Perry and he
actually told me he’d send me some lines drawings that I could use to model
it up properly – he wasn’t impressed with my improvised attempt. The lines
drawings never came (no surprise) and I didn’t pester him about it. I know
he wants $350 for a set of working drawings. If that’s what it takes, it
will have to wait.

If I ever do make another one, I’ll use it to make tooling for repeat
production.

As it is, I still need to finish the model I started almost 2 years ago.

Hi Rick B. Some time back, you had referenced a scale model of the Baba 30.
Is that item available for purchase? If so please direct this lost sole to
enlightenment.
