So sorry to hear you are moving on . . . and yes it is beyond amazing how
much stuff we can get on our boats . . . yes it seems to take over the
whole world when it is off the boat. I hope as you close this door,
opportunities for new adventures come your way.
I am very interested in acquiring both the Bridle and the Top Climber.
Please contact me at : pb@paulbraschi.com or 203 215-1052 to discuss.
Best of luck in 07,
Paul Brasch

Subject: [Baba-L] Items you need?
Sadly, because of my husband's heart condition, we are selling C-
Drifters, our beautiful and beloved 1987 Tashiba 40. What a fabulous
adventure we've had! Really emotional to let go....
Jeez Louise, I have NO IDEA how we got SO MUCH STUFF on one boat!!!!
I can't even find the floor in our house now! I swear C-Drifters
held as much crap as our entire home! I have to drag out every nook
and cranny of our condo now and trash stuff so we can make room for
what we want to keep. Arrrgghhhh. So many hard decisions. So much
stuff! Anybody got a match?????
FYI:
We have a beautiful custom-made 1-inch, spliced bridle with leather
hauspipe wrap- protection. Soft and yar. Used only once. A couple
of years ago Westrec removed our mooring (& many others) from our
harbor and we had to take a dock slip instead. We had commissioned
the bridle made at the end of the season. Then the changes came
before spring. So we had a bridle we couldn't use.
Also, we have the heavy-duty quick-release forestay fittings and
rigging for our staysail (which we removed when we installed our
Profurl).
Other items:
---brand new TopClimber. Never even taken out of its bag.
---a deluxe West Marine bosun chair with attachments. Used twice.
For mast-monkey business once. For swinging out and dunking in the
water all-day-long on one hot summer cruise.
If interested, let me know asap....

We're so boat-nutty that we have possibly every single issue of
Practical Sailor since Oct 1, 1988. I'm removing them from their
binders next on my list.
Also got a set of Great Lakes Cruising Clubs' wonderful detailed
Harbor Reports for all the Great Lakes. We used them extensively
sailing Lake Michigan, a bit of Lake Huron, and throughout the North
Channel. They are marvelous. I think we have six or seven of their
nice binders FULL, plus a big package of supplemental reports that
came last year, but we were busy with Don's heart trouble and didn't
get to insert them.
