This is the way the anchor locker drains on the 40 as well. The PVC tube
covered with a thin fiberglass ridge is a very light gauge unlike the
PVC pipe sold at Home Dept. My guess is that over the years the PVC pipe
gets a hole in it or fractures and water from the anchor locker leaks
from the fiberglass covering wherever it can escape. I have the same
problem with a leak into a V birth locker.

Solving the problem is a nightmare as you will never be able to pinpoint
where the PVC pipe is fractured and leaking. Taking a grinder to open a
small section of the fiberglass channel that the PVC runs in may let you
know if its wet in there. If it is the fix is a mess of a job.

One other point - I have been to the bottom of the anchor locker to seal
the connection made by the PVC pipe and the small triangle shaped floor
of the locker. At first I thought this poor connection was where the
water was leaking into the tunnel covering the PVC. Unfortunately, this
was not the case - the work I did had no affect on the leak appearing
under the V birth.
