HI Tom - thanks for this. I am putting in a Raymarine C-series radar and
chartprogramme. I want to have the screen right at the helm when we are
sailing and want to be able to move it to the nav station when I am planning
so it is taking some work to figure out how we will do this. Also want the
helm screen to rotate so that someone sitting under the dodger can do nav
stuff while still on deck - so in this way, the screen has to both rotate
and tilt up and down. Intersting design problem for me. then I want to be
able to lift the screen off, and set it up in the nav station.

of course there are concerns with the compass and interference so we have to
check this part out as well. Do you know of any baba 30s that have this
kind of set up?

the instrument panel will be set up above the companion way towards the back
of the area covered by the dodger. We are building stainless steel supports
for this and are building a piece of teak in which to inset the
instruments. we are still in the "what about this' stage.

your nav station pics give me lots of ideas about how I can accomplish my
goals in that area.

Will send some pics of the set up when we are finished.
