Thank you for your good definition of my next boat-mare or the "Magic Cupboard". I consulted my surveyor regarding your experience. He felt the greatest benefit of all your labor is not so much with the appearance of the 314 stainless, but rather the replacement of softened/rotten hull attachments. Considering the possible detriment of oxygen starved stainless encased in epoxy, they look reasonable.
 Do the bolt holes appear oval? If so this is cause to replace or rebore to larger size, however your excellent pix do not show corrosion round the bolt holes. I would consult with a trusted surveyor to get a second opinion.
I will let you know of my "voyage" into this same space to visit Master Haung's handiwork.
Chainplates have always been conceptual in marine architecture and grist for designs like the Hunter.
