Er, a good directional antenna WiFi adapter (e.g., Hawking Technology's
8db gain antenna/network interface device) does wonders from an
anchorage near potential sites. Some marinas, bookstores, etc. offer
free hot spots. While anchored near Annapolis over the weekend, I had
three or four access points to choose from to check weather, etc.
