Jim.....measured the sling points on my 35 this weekend for you. The yard
has lifted on theses marks the last two haul outs and put decals in place.
Running a tape measure along the outer edge of the gunnel, starting at the
forward point where the gunnel intersects the bowsprit, the forward mark is
12ft 4in aft (1ft 4in forward of nearest stanchion) and the aft mark is 26ft
10.5in (3in aft the nearest stanchion which is the aft 'opening' stanchion).
They always tie the two together as a precaution.

Rick- Thanks for the reply. I will be sure to have
the straps tied together. I would agree with the
strap location, but more specifically where do these
points correspond to on the cabin? What landmark on
top is forward of the rudder?
Thanks,
Jim
PS Cindy- great bird pictures...we had a frigate bird
aboard for a gulf crossing once...
