Aloha!
Well, the trusty Adler Barbour refrigeration unit in our Baba 30, Oasis, went
to refrigerator heaven recently. When I removed the condenser unit from the
"refrigerator" in the galley, about a pint of water gushed (I assume from
condensation) out of the lower mounting holes. The condenser was mounted on 1
inch nylon stand offs on the inboard side near the three stacked drawers. This
afternoon, I drilled a small hole about an inch above the bottom and about a
quarter cup of water exited.
I am considering cutting a round hole in the fibvergalss panel to access and
remove the insulation - if there still is any - and install new insulation and
a small screw-in hatch.
Anyone have any recommendations in this regards from experience?
Mahalo nui loa!
