A small addendum to the BVI cruising decision, which for newbies is
excellent. Consider a side trip to Vieques. I haven't done this
trip, but I have had friends that have. This re-centers you more to
the West, so chartering out of Red Hook or somewhere on St. John is
probably better than Tortola. If you decide instead to stay East,
make sure you plan a couple of days on Anegada. The guide books used
to make it seem scary, but it is very well marked and with GPS it is
no problem.
