Subject: RE: [Baba-L] autopilot question
Tom,
I've been using an Alpha 3000 on my Panda 40 PH for the last 10 years
without any difficulty. A friend of mine who also has a Panda 40 has used
the Alpha 3000 since he bought the boat new 24 years ago. The analog
controls are simple (some might say primitive) but functional. The drive is
beefy enough to handle
the boat in all conditions that I've encountered, including a full gale
quartering sea.
I don't have any pictures of the installation, but the next time I'm out to
the boat I'll snap a few and post them to you.
