head plumbing

Hello Peggie-
Welcome to the list. I am revamping the head on a
Baba 35. I am installing a new Lavac(I have had much
success with this throne before). Just a few
questions:
1. What do you think of Sealand "odor safe" hose?
Should PVC be used where possible, or is Sealand good
for all runs(other readers please show restraint!)
2. Is it necessary to have a siphon break after the
Henderson pump and before the outgoing seacock?
3. I will be going with a three y-valve installation
to allow pumping into the holding tank, overboard, and
emptying of the tank with the same pump, as well as
topside pump out by external means. Are there any
y-valves that are more reliable than others, or less
permeable than others?
Thanks for yours and any others Babatarian's opinions,
Jim Swallow

Also to Baba 35 owners- Anyone with a Lavac- Did you
put the Henderson under the sink? If not, where? It
seems that it will be impossible to leave the handle
in with a behind the bulkhead installation.
