Rich,

I would appreciate your autopilot mounting solutions since I am looking
forward to this job soon. Photos too?

Tom, Rob, Bruce,

Thanks for all the advice on grinders. I think I have the idea and will
check them out and make a decision tomorrow. I would like to get this part
of the work underway as the weather here is very mild for this time of the
year. While it's pleasant out I don't mind working on the boat. On the dust
hazard - this is worthwhile advice. I'll be sure to get a full paper suit
with hood. I use a 3M mask but need to change the filters before I start the
grinding. I should have picked up this tool a long time ago. In the past I
struggled to complete jobs using a small finishing sander with heavy grit
paper.

Thanks and Happy New Year to all
Rich Cassano
