FYI, Universal recommends 90% of redline speed for at least the M40 engine. The problem
with running under this speed is the engine runs too cool and builds up varnish deposits
on the cylinder walls. Over time that lets fuel past the rings and into the oil (as
well as power loss). The only real cure for this a tear down... Not Good.
