Just wondering if anyone has ever removed their transmission while the boat
was in the water? I need to rebuild my tranny for my Yanmar 3GMF, but am
wondering about how I'd secure the propshaft and my dripless shaft seal
while doing the project.

I know I can move the rudder all the way to one side, and slide the
propshaft aft, but then how to make a contraption or brace to hold it in
place???

Would love to hear about your technique if you've successfully done this.
