Hello,
 
I'm looking at replacing the dome lights in my Baba 40. They generate a lot of heat and the bulbs are constantly burning out.
 
I have looked at the LED lights such as the ones offered on www.sailboatstuff.com. They aren't cheap but the thought of low voltage, zero heat and 10,000 of bulb life is very appealing. The one's I am eyeing have 18 white LED's and 12 red - equivalent to 18 and 12 watts respectively.
 
Does anyone have any recommendations on what a good replacement would be?
 
I have Alpenglow lights in several locations such as under the cupboards in the galley and at the nav station but I'm looking for something similar in size and shape for the general cabin lights.
