Baba 35 fuel tank

Greetings- The original fuel tank in my 35 is nearing
the end of it's life(as I am thinking of the job of
replacing it...). The removal and replacement with
multiple tanks is well documented, and most likely the
way I will go. Has anyone attempted a different fix
besides replacing with multiple metal tanks? If so,
why or why not? I don't like the bladder inside the
old tank approach. Other options are to line the
current tank with something, perhaps what they use to
reline underground fuel storage tanks(the Rhino-lining
cop out), or removing the old tank and fiberglassing a
new tank in place(that would increase capacity and
allow a single tank). Any thoughts on these or other
options?

P.S. I could just plumb fuel pickup and return lines
to the bilge for the day the tank bottom gives out and
just keep sailing.....
