I too lusted after the Scanvik faucets (wanting the best equipment for my
boat) but couldn't justify the $189 pricetag or $224, or whatever it was. I
opted for the "Home Depot" solution and after a year am happy. We'll see
how long it lasts... It's supposedly all stainless and brass so I'm hoping
for the best.

My water pressure is good through it, but I have one of the new VSD 4.5gpm
pumps.

The faucet I choose swivels and had a sprayer that comes out of the end of
the neck. I carry an extra 6' section of hose with a hand-held shower
sprayer that has an on/off button so that I can shower in the cockpit when
the weather is reasonable. I even have a jolly roger shower curtain that I
can hang from the back edge of the dodger if I want a little privacy.
