Hi Alan/Rick,
I have a "plastic" translucent sliding hatch over the companionway and this
hatch slides under a teak box located between our butterfly hatch and
traveller. So that's what I'm calling my hatch cover - unless there's
another name for it.
We want to remove and have rebuilt and keep it original. Would be nice if it
can be removed easily and then we can bring it to someone to be redone. A
cabinet maker is not a bad idea - we'll look into it.
