I don't think we have ever used the head to shower in but the system is
installed just in case.

Do many of you get fresh water in the center bilge that comes down the mast
and through the mast step wiring hole?

What is the best fix for this?

Hi Rod. I was reading about how you drain after showering. This is the
system which Lorac had. I found that 28 years of shower draining into the
bilge leaves a very nasty build-up in the bilge which is next to imposible
to get out and releases a very unpleasant odor in very heavy seas. I
purchased a closed shower sump system from West Marine for about $120.00 and
installed it in the fore section of the bilge. It fit well and was easy to
plumb and wire. The perks are no odors, an automatic float switch which
pumps quickly and efficiently and no bilge cleaning. Just food or thought.

I have a button on the side of the sink cabinet and it activates the pump to
drain the floor after a shower. The pump is in the center bilge and pumps
the water from the head floor to the bilge..

BTW I checked my head today and I have vented loops on both the pickup line
and the outgoing and it works just fine.

You actually have instructions for your head ( the marine one)!!? Sounds
like the same one I have in Pamarno.

I cant even find a name on the pump or any other location.

 Also do you know what the little switch on the outside of sink cabinet (to
left of the head) is for?

Canvas buckets are less of a challenge.;-)
