  David, you will learn quickly that shade over the boat in Houston is a must! There was a boat in my marina (Legend Point) that had this Shadetree awning. I did not like the way it pinched the side decks....was a very narrow affair. I've always just made my own awnings; one aft the mast, one ahead over foredeck. It really helps keep the heat out of the boat.
  I'm on a 35, Flavor, slip W47 at Legend Point...take a look if you are in the vicinity. I should have the foredeck one back up this Friday.
