Deck recaulking is hard on the knees and the back. It's good to have a
set of knee pads and someone to rub your back when you're done.

We've repaired/replaced much of the caulk on Mandisa's decks and we've
rebedded some of the fittings. We strongly agree with the recommendation
of the Fein Multimaster with the teak deck attachment (5mm for our
decks) and the TeakDecking Systems caulk...

One thing that hasn't been mentioned is that some people feel that
hot/dry weather will cause the teak strips to shrink a bit which will
cause the new caulk beads to fit a little tighter in their beds under
normal conditions. I don't know if this is true, but it does increase
the misery factor of the project and that's got to help, right?
