One of our friends did a delivery from SoCal to Hawaii (29 days)and
another from PV to Tahiti ~30 days). He took a laptop with XP pro (SP2?)
on it and had no difficulties with the computer. I know he used it for
email (with SailMail) and weather fax. I don't know about navigation.

I don't think I would personally make a trip like these with Vista, but
then I plan on avoiding Vista for any use for at least a year.
