Ken, Alan, et al,
I’m not alone at saying we all want to see Ken’s pictures. Please pass along
to me and I’ll post on site or we can put them up on the FTP. We’re all
curious about this.

Subject: Re: [Baba-L] Height and Keel measurments
I measured my Baba 30 today and the height from the bottom of the keel to
the top of the mainsheet traveler is about 10 feet 8 inches. The width of
the keel is greatest on the forward portion and is about 12 inches wide. I
have the keel sitting on about 3 blocks of wood about 3 inches thick so I
can still fit the traveler's straps under the keel.
With my boat on the trailer it is about 12 feet high! I have a mast carrier
on the port side of the trailer so I don't have to have the mast on the
top. I verified B Perry's info that the keel bottom "starts" about 16 feet
aft of the bow (stem). It is quite a load but my trailer has about 6,000
miles on it now.....I think that is even more than we have sailed it!
I managed to get some pictures to Alan but I don't think I can post them to
the list.
I hope that helps,
Ken
