Subject: [Baba-L] Source in USA for 4-inch length 316 stainless track bolts?
Anyone know where (in the USA or Europe) I could order 316 grade stainless steel with the following specification?
1/4 - inch diameter
4 inch length
UNF threaded
Countersunk
I've pulled 9 bolts out of my mainsheet traveler that are Philips (not slotted head) and are in this form factor. So I know they exist. I just don't know where to get them replaced.
Here in Australia, I can only find slotted head bolts to this spec. Slotted head bolts and I don't get along well together.
Manufacturers and distributors here in Australia tell me 'no one manufactures such a thing'.
And while I'm wishing:
What I'd REALLY prefer would be this bolt (as above) but with an 'internal hex' head so that I can use an Allen key to fit and remove.
Help!
