A little off the topic, but before you laugh at Macs for
navigation...check out MacENC, about 100 bucks, reviewed in Practical
Sailor a few months ago.

  The software is awesome, supports GPS, AIS, automatically acquires
weather grbs, and allows toggling between raster and vector maps.
