A low tech way is to simply get water finding gauging past for a oil company
supply or your friendly service station. Just smear a little on the dip
stick for the tank or steel rod, lower it into the tank for a few seconds
and withdraw, look for a color change which indicates water. That's my tank
tender.
I'm in the process of replacing the 110 gallon fuel tank aboard Gray
Eagle. This is a monster job!
I was wondering if some of the Baba-L members are using the Tank Tender
gauge for diesel fuel and water tank soundings. If so, is this system
worth the high price? What's your review of the product?
