WD - 40 while quite popular is not the best agent to use aboard in marine
applications. This is a penetrating oil used to loosen things up. My
mechanic turned me on to "Deep Creep" and if you have not tried it, I
recommend that you do. I no longer buy WD - 40 as I find this is a superior
product.
