old ones that are still workable that you would like to sell?

The picture of the seacock is the same original equipment that TaShing
used aboard our Tashiba 40. The raised letters "GD" stand for "Grand
Deer" which is the manufacturer in Taiwan for most all the hardware
aboard Tashiba's,(Grand Deer is out of business). Our ports are all
Grand Deer as well as many other items. I found the original valves very
good quality but didn't like the fact that many sizes were 1 1/4"
instead of the more standard 1 1/2" used in the USA. Hose does come in
the 1 1/4" diameter but its hard to find. Hose is much more readily
available in 1 1/2". I did replace many of my Grand Deer seacock when I
rebuilt the entire head system. If you change to any other brand sea
cock like Groco you will have to knock off the old mounting base and
glass in a new one of greater diameter. The bases for modern seacocks
are much bigger and will not properly fit on top of the old backing
block. I used G10 board, 1/2" thick, to make some very nice backing
blocks. While I was changing some seacocks I increased the size of the
engine cooling intake from 3/4" to a 1" diameter. A 3/4" valve only
gives you a 1/2" of flow which I thought too vulnerable to clogging.
Going up one size to 1" now gives me a true 3/4" of water flow.
