Sounds like a great unit, however, after looking into the Hurricane I
found it very, very expensive. At the Annapolis Boat Show last year the
manufacturer did not want to sell product to a boat owner. He wanted his
dealer to install it which is not what I would want. Also, the Btu load
for a Tashiba 40 is around 16,500 Btu. This is according to a chart I
used on the Wabesto web site and my measurement of the interior of the
boat. The Btu capability for the H2 is 35,000 Btu - sort of overkill for
a Tashiba 40. Is this kind of overkill warranted if you live aboard and
use the system all the time in a cold climate?
