to the floor?

Also, how far away is your stack from the butterfly hatch canvas?

And finally, where did you get the canvas hatch cover. I was just turned
down by a local canvas shop.

The total length of my stack is about 36 inches. This includes the part
below as well as above the deck. My table is permanently mounted to the
floor and the heater on the bulkhead above it. It all worked out quite
nicely.

The fresh air intake comes through the ceiling on the head. I put a
separate flush mounted Charley Noble there. The hose runs down the
bulkhead then through below where the heater is mounted. This separate
air supply reduces downdraft problems and also relieves my fears of the
carbon monoxide thing.

The heater draws diesel right out of my main fuel tank. I plumbed it to
draw from my racor. I used the electric fuel pump that Sigmar
recommended and it works great. I installed it in the stern and mounted
on rubber hose which isolates the sound quite nicely.

I like the Sigma 120 heater for a Tashiba 40, however, it requires an
exhaust vent and air intake vent. The exhaust pipe is supposed to be at
least three feet long. I don't have this much overhead in the location I

want to mount the unit so have not purchased one just yet. Is your Sigma

  installed with this much exhaust pipe? Do you also have the air intake

through the cabin top?
