The Tayana was also designed by Bob Perry - it was not built by
TaShing - which is a big difference. I also believe, but am not
sure, that it was manufactured in more than one yard.

The quality of the Baba's is consistenlty high - I have never heard
of a lemon Baba 30. I have heard of Tayana's that had problems early on.

Another double ender is the Vailiant 40 and 32 and I like to think
that the Baba 30 was Perry's next one design to provide something
seaworthy and in the 30 foot size. The Valiant 32 never really took off.

I guess if you wish - but, I am not sure who else has done this. I
have never had a leak problem or heard of one. - but if you had
moisture around them, it does seem like a good idea. Did you find
any moisture there??
