I could be reading way too much between the lines but if the tank looks
as though it's stainless and it's over the keel and under the cabin sole
(thus not a water tank), it's probably a replacement (the original was
painted battleship gray and would show some rust). That suggests other
things may have been gone over, too - all to the good, I hope.
