BlankHi all. Has anyone with a Baba 30 used an Asymmetric Spinnaker? I borrowed an Asym from a friend with a Cape Dory 30. It was small for a Baba 30, @ 664 sq.' but I was turning 4.8 kts in 8 kts true @ 170 degree wind angle. Seemed very impressive. I contacted Terry Flynn @ Quantum Sails in Seabrook, Texas and after a long discussion, ordered a V3 Asymmetric Spinnaker. It has 796 sq.' of sail area and should carry @ 80-160 awa. I feel this will be a great sail for my pending run to Isla Mujeres, Mexico. All experiences and opinions are welcome ( and needed).
