We just completed a total re-wiring of the boat with the installation of a
new panel being the final event. Here are two photos: The new panel was 3/4
inch smaller in both directions. So I built a partial teak frame screwed to
the panel to fit the original opening using the original hinges. The labels,
now back lighted, on the new Blue Seas panel, are not yet installed. We
found both hot ac wires and neutral circuits on the same connector buss from
the original construction. We made separate busses for each ac leg. In the
backside view (017), the rear of the panel is the lower half of the picture.
Note the sizes of the wires designed to carry the max load to the master
100-amp dc circuit breaker through a shunt located on the left hand bulkhead
inside the box.
