I just did the sole with 5 coats of Sea-Fin.. Didn't put anything over
it.. Not sure if that was the proper application but it looks great and
has held up well for the past month..
The wood did darken but I liked the results.. Worse case I could put a
coat of varnish over it if it starts to wear too fast.
