We're redoing our britework on our Baba 30 and have been watching the cap
rail scarf joint beginning to part ever so slightly. Several folks have
suggested stripping down to bare wood in the immediate vicinity of the joint
and adding epoxy to fill in and seal the joint.
Is this the best way to repair the joint before refinishing? Will it leave a
joint discoloration when finished?
Any experiences in addressing this issue are welcome.
