Thank you for your comments. They reflect exactly how we feel and have
experienced in twenty years plus of world cruising. In areas of high theft,
we hired a thief from among the thieves to watch our boat, sometimes by
sleeping in the cockpit, when we were away overnight, or to stand watch over
our dinghy pulled up to a village beach. It always worked, usually for the
price of a couple of meals.
