Re: mounting autopilot drive units.

One Baba 40 I visited in San Francisco had mounted the
drive unit to starboard, attached to the propane locker. It was not
strong enough to handle
the load and buckled. The fiberglass propane locker buckled, that is.

Also, Richard Cassano had a similar issue with the mounting on his
previous drive unit and he might offer some additional advice.
