We've had the Baba long enough to know that nothing is ever *really*
finished but, for the moment, the project has been pronounced "done"!
It's only been tested with water, but everything seems to work as it
should with no leaks! Can it be true?

Thanks especially go out to Peggie Hall and all on this list who gave
such good advice!!

I tried to take photos, but the head cabinet is too tight so all you can
see are random shadows and shapes. Too bad because it's a strange
looking thing with black ABS fittings and pipes with bits of white hose
and the gray diverter valves. (I know I said I was going to paint
everything white, but the job was bigger than I thought it would be - of
course.)

Things that I learned:
- The space inside of a Baba 30 head cabinet is not the same as "normal"
space. There are no straight lines and measuring tapes are useless.
Dropped screws are no longer on the boat.
- Cheapo "strap wrenches" from Sears are the greatest tool ever for
doing boat plumbing.
- The Sealand "Custom Hose Adapter" fittings are amazingly useful and
open up a whole world of possibilities. If you're even thinking about
replumbing, you should get a few and take them to the hardware store
with you.
- Buying your non "marine" plumbing supplies at the local hardware store
is worth the ribbing you'll get for showing up every day to get "just a
couple more" fittings. When the project is done, you can take the extras
back and they'll refund your money - even though you've lost all the
receipts.

I'm SO glad this is done!!
