We have done some business with Dan (Newell, I think his last name is?). He
had always been great to work with, and gave great prices on gear. We were
sorry to see him called up. He did say that he would be back in business in
April, 2006, but that was before Katrina hit. They were located in or near
Waveland, MS, which was completely flattened (this was very near where the
eye went ashore). I sent him email right after Katrina - and he did respond=
,
saying that he was overseas, his wife did evacuate in time, but his home,
business, cars, boat, everything was lost. They are relocating to (I
believe) North Carolina somewhere. They did allow Dan emergency leave to
come home to help for a while. He still hopes to be in business this spring
in a new location.
