Just to add my $.02,

I felt the same way Richard E. did regarding the original post, it felt a
wee bit misleading with no mention that it was your company Jack. You
cleared that up in the second or third post so no big deal. I think Richard
was rather fair in his comments, and was simply reminding people that the
maps were available elsewhere for free, and a reminder that using the list
to solicit business wasn't it's original charter.

I spent the time to read most of Jack's page and emails and feel that his
product is a great idea! I was kicking myself for not thinking of it first.
And having recently tried downloading the charts myself, I know that it
takes a bit of time to do so. I ended up getting only the ones for my
region (Pac NW) and told myself I'd get the rest when I had time... Using a
database to search for any charts for a given area or descriptor would be a
good tool. There was only one other person in addition to Maptech offering
the charts, and their's didn't include the NOAA charts or a database tool.
(Their DVD was $39 http://www.gpsnavx.com/html/rasterDVD.html and no, I have
no affiliation with them)

Jack, stick around and cut the Baba-L list a deep discount! (like
undercutting the site listed above)

You'll be rolling in the money soon enough!

Buy a Baba!
