I could be wrong, but a Listserv doesn't have a central forum-type website
list of all the posts, it's strictly e-mail. But, I'm an idiot when it comes
to some of the old-school stuff and could be completely wrong about that.

In any case, here's a link to the Baba_L I set up a while back when we first
transitioned to SailJazz. I had forgotten about this:

Now, this is simply an example and a more structured site would be built

Yes Cindy, there is an e-mail capability.

However, I''ve been on Unix listservs and if you''re all ready to go then
I''d go for that. The only thing about a listserv is that it is not forum
based, correct? Then again, if it''s agreed that we don''t need a forum then
a listserv is a good solution.


As for other fears regarding Rick E''s hosting, his issues were not due to
the DIY nature of his efforts but the efforts of his ISP to ''do good'' by
throttling his access.

This would not be a problem on Sail2Live nor ballreich.net, I presume.

In terms of MSN, that is a four-letter word in my book and I''ll just leave
it at that.
