I have what I believe are original cushions which are about 1 3/4
inches thick, 4 pieces, and are a sort of a vinyl or acrylic covered
foam. I wouldn't want them any larger, as they would be a problem to
stow away. Their really beat on one side, flipped them over, and their
fine. Their very comfortable.
