I also used Cross Country, in 1998, to move our Baba-30 from
Annapolis, MD to Duluth, MN, and can second and third the
recommendations. The guy is thorough, great to deal with, secures the
boat well, and his wife even takes panicked phone calls every day to
check on my baby on the road! They are a great company, and if you can
wait to have him arrange a round-trip for part of it, very competitive
in rates.
